Job summary

BlueScope is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for our Western Australia Service Centre in Forrestfield. This 12-month fixed-term role provides timely reporting, forecasting and planning support to the WA Logistics team to ensure on-time delivery of products by rail, sea and road.

You will be the main liaison between carriers, dispatch points and planning teams, generate performance reports, and work with internal stakeholders to optimise delivery schedules and costs.

Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of transport, operations or logistics environments.
• Aptitude in data analysis and using new technologies.
• Strong customer focus and ability to handle ambiguity and change.

Responsibilities

• Be the main contact between carriers, dispatch points and planning teams to foster continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with operations and planning to provide data for processes and scheduling of products for distribution.
• Generate reports to monitor warehouse performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate efficient, cost-effective delivery schedules with transport, sales and warehouse teams.
