Job summary

Little Creatures Geelong is seeking an experienced Logistics Operator (Packaging Technician - Logistics) to join the team on a permanent full-time basis. You will spend ~70% of time operating a forklift, loading/unloading trucks, and managing warehouse movements, with ~30% on systems and logistics administration.

You will work closely with Packaging and Operations teams to coordinate deliveries, production timing, and warehouse space while maintaining safety standards and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience and a current forklift licence required.
• Experience loading/unloading in warehouse/manufacturing/logistics.
• Confidence working with systems and completing logistics administration.
• Experience with SAP and Excel.
• Strong understanding of warehouse/logistics operations.
• Strong safety awareness around forklifts and load planning.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• FMCG/manufacturing experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to load and unload trucks and move materials and finished goods around site
• Manage inbound and outbound receipting, dispatch and stock movements
• Complete load documentation, manifests and other logistics administration
• Scan and process delivery dockets and maintain accurate system records
• Use systems including SAP, Excel and BevChain platforms
• Manage CHEP pallets and support stock and warehouse accuracy
• Work closely with Packaging and Operations teams to coordinate deliveries, production timing and warehouse space
• Maintain high standards of forklift, traffic management, load compliance and warehouse safety
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality and efficiency across the logistics operation
