A Logistics Operator is needed in Altona, Melbourne, to support day-to-day operations in a dynamic warehouse. You will operate forklifts, ensure safety, and help manage stock with accurate records.

This is a casual 6-month assignment with potential extension, offering weekly payroll through Adecco. Candidates must hold a valid forklift licence, have experience with reach forklifts, and demonstrate strong organizational and teamwork skills.

• Valid forklift licence and strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move and manage inventory.
• Perform routine safety inspections on equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Load and unload goods from delivery trucks with accurate documentation and inventory tracking.
• Assist with stocktaking and inventory management, reporting discrepancies to the warehouse manager.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace complying with safety standards.

Responsibilities

As a Logistics Operator, your primary responsibilities willinclude:

• Operating forklifts and othermaterial-handling equipment to efficiently move and manage inventory within thewarehouse.
• Performing routine safetyinspections on equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Loading and unloading goods fromdelivery trucks while ensuring accurate documentation and inventory tracking.
• Assisting with stocktaking andinventory management, promptly reporting any discrepancies to the warehousemanager.
• Collaborating with team membersto streamline warehouse operations and enhance overall efficiency.
• Maintaining a clean, organizedworkspace in adherence to company policies and safety standards.

Your Profile
