An Aboriginal land advocacy organization in Darwin seeks a dedicated individual to support Aboriginal communities through event management and logistical assistance. This full-time role includes setting up meetings, transportation, and ensuring a welcoming environment. Applicants must hold a valid driver's license and be a strong communicator, committed to effective team collaboration. Competitive salary and various benefits are offered.
This position is designated under Special Measures, with priority consideration for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants under section 57 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1996 (NT).
This role is all about getting things done on the ground—from helping set up meetings and events, transporting community members, to making sure venues are ready and welcoming. You’ll be part of a team that plays a key role in supporting Aboriginal communities across the Darwin Daly Wagait region.
You’ll bring a practical, can-do attitude and a strong sense of responsibility. You’re someone who takes pride in doing a job well, whether it’s setting up a venue, helping people get to a meeting, or making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll be a good communicator, a safe driver, and someone who works well in a team and with community.
