Aussie Locums invites a skilled locum sonographer to join our Sandringham Radiology team in Melbourne for a short-term contract. You will operate in a state-of-the-art facility on Philips EPIQ scanners, delivering high-quality imaging across obstetric, paediatric, abdominal and other modalities.

The role commences as soon as possible with a 6-8 week contract and potential extension. Enjoy a convenient home base in Melbourne, weekly payroll, and 24/7 support from Aussie Locums.

Responsabilidades

• Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations across Obstetrics, Paediatrics, Abdominal, Renal, Pelvic, MSK, Small Parts and Vascular using Philips EPIQ scanners.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation and reporting of ultrasound findings.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of ultrasound procedures.
• Provide compassionate care and support to patients during the ultrasound process.
• Ensure ultrasound rooms and equipment are clean, well-maintained, and functioning properly.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for patients and staff.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and best practices in sonography to continually improve skills and knowledge.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior sonographers or students as needed.
• Manage workload efficiently to accommodate the needs of the department and maintain a smooth workflow.
