Job summary

Aussie Locums in Mildura, VIC is seeking a locum sonographer to start asap for ongoing coverage in hospital or private practice settings.

You will perform MSK, obstetric, general, vascular, abdominal and small parts scans, operate Canon Aplio I700, and work with a radiology team. Travel and accommodation are provided.

Eligibility includes full ASAR membership and Australian working rights; DOE salary is $85-90 per hour plus super, weekly pay.

Qualifications

• ASAR membership required.
• Experience in a private hospital setting.
• Eligible to work in Australia (Australian working rights).
• Experience using Canon ultrasound equipment (Aplio I700) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of scans (MSK, obstetrics, general, vascular, abdominal and small parts).
• Manage patients and operate Canon ultrasound machines.
• Deliver high-quality patient care and service.
• Develop and maintain relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers.
• Promote and maintain high safety and quality standards.

A little about the role:

In this role you will be responsible for driving high quality and efficient imaging services in a hospital and/or private practice setting. Consistently placing patient care at the centre of every scan you perform. You will work with a team of medical imaging professionals including sonographers, radiographers, and an onsite radiologist plus an administration team.

• Experienced across a broad range of scan types including MSK, obstetrics, general and vascular, Abdo & small parts.
• Managing patients and operating Canon equipment
• Consistently delivering high levels of patient care and service

• Promoting and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards
