Job summary

Aussie Locums is seeking a passionate General Radiographer for a stint in Alice Springs, NT. The role covers general x-ray, theatre and mobile imaging within a busy hospital ED, with inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.

Credentialing with the client is required (AHPRA). The assignment offers an attractive hourly rate, with accommodation, flights and hire car provided, and weekly payroll.”

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA credential required.
• Experience in a similar radiography environment.
• Familiarity with Toshiba radiography machines.

Responsibilities

• Work across general x-ray, theatre and mobile imaging.
• Based in a hospital with a busy ED and inpatient/outpatient care.
• Collaborate with nurses and clinical staff to support imaging services.

Our client is a busy hospital, and services a large region. Committed to meeting the needs of all people, they are a specialist teaching hospital right in the red centre of Australia. Considered a progressive hospital, they provide a wide range of services and examinations and offer a 24/7 emergency department.

All about the role

We require a passionate general radiographer for a stint in outback Australia. The role includes work across general x-ray, theatre and mobiles. You will be based in a hospital, with a very busy ED department and also look after inpatients and outpatients. No cannulation is required as there are nurses on site who will conduct this.

Ability to be fully credentialed with our client, including the below:

• Current AHPRA
• Previous experience in a similar environment.
