Mediix is seeking a Locum Occupational Therapist to join our well-established allied health service in Darwin, delivering services across Darwin and remote Northern Territory communities.

The role combines clinic-based work with outreach, supported by a structured team and robust logistics. Start ASAP for a minimum 4 months, with preference for 6 months, and travel across NT as needed.

Qualifications

• Qualified Occupational Therapist with AHPRA registration.
• Comfortable working across the lifespan.
• Willingness to travel within NT and participate in outreach work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy across clinic, schools/childcare, aged care and home visits.
• Engage in outreach work across the Northern Territory and support travel between communities.

LOCUM OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Darwin & Remote Northern Territory | 4-6 Month Contract

We are currently seeking an experienced Locum Occupational Therapist to join a well-established allied health service based in Darwin, delivering services across Darwin and remote Northern Territory communities.

This role offers a unique mix of clinic-based work and outreach, supported by a highly structured team and excellent logistical support.

Location

• Primary base: Darwin, NT
• Outreach: Day trips to remote communities, with occasional overnight stays

Accommodation & Transport

• $300 per week contribution towards accommodation for the duration of the contract
• Work vehicle provided for all outreach, school, community and home visits

Caseload

• Work across the lifespan: children, adolescents and adults
• Settings include:
• Clinic
• Schools & childcare
• Aged care
• Home visits
• Support from Allied Health Assistants

Support

• Full admin and finance support
• No invoicing or appointment bookings required
• Focus purely on clinical work
