Job summary

Cc Medical in Darwin, Australia, seeks an experienced Locum Hospital Occupational Therapist for a 12-week assignment starting ASAP. You will join a multidisciplinary team of about 40 clinicians in sub-acute inpatient rehab with a neurological focus.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00–16:21, with locum rates of 65–72 AUD per hour, plus super, flight & accommodation, and travel reimbursement. This role requires at least two years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Must have at least two years relevant experience.
• Subacute experience or potential acute experience to work at the sister hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services in sub-acute inpatient rehabilitation with neurological conditions (ABI, TBI, amputees, deconditioned).
• Be part of a multidisciplinary team of around 40 clinicians.
• Work Monday–Friday 8:00–16:21.

Experienced Locum Hospital Occupational Therapist required for a role in the gorgeous Northern Territory. I’ve placed many locums with this hospital and it comes highly recommended. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team of 40 clinicians, including other Occupational Therapists.
The locum is to start ASAP, the preference is for 12 weeks. The hours of work are Monday-Friday, 8:00-16:21.
The caseload will cover:

• Sub-acute inpatient rehabilitation – primarily neurological, ABI, TBI, amputees, deconditioned patients
• There is large number of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander population clients
• Locum rates $65 - $72 + super + option for living away from home tax benefits – more take home pay, approx. $6-7 dollars more per hour!
• FREE accommodation provided
• Travel reimbursement available
• You must have subacute experience or potentially acute experience to work at the sister hospital

You must have at least two years relevant experience. This role is NOT suitable for new grads.
