Job summary

Healthcarelink Recruitment Support Partner is assisting a remote community clinic in Katherine, NT, by recruiting a GP. The role is Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with no on-call or after-hours requirements.

The clinic operates with full admin support, RANs, and a visiting AHPRA-registered clinician. FRACGP/FACRRM with Specialist AHPRA registration and Communicare experience are required.

Qualifications

• FRACGP or FACRRM with Specialist AHPRA registration.
• Experience with Communicare software.
• Locum/ permanent GP role with weekday hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide GP services in a supportive clinic alongside another GP.
• Collaborate with full-time admin staff, RANs and visiting AHPRA-AHPRA registered clinician.
• Work Monday-Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm with no on-call or after-hours.
• Use Communicare for client records and billing as part of daily workflow.

Various blocks of cover required to support the Ngukurr Community or various other locations.

• One permanent doctor, 4 RANs and AHP for support
• Small indigenous community of around 1000 people

Conditions: You will be working alongside another GP in this supportive clinic, with full-time admin staff, RANs and a visiting AHP. There are no on-call or afterhours and it is a Monday -Friday position between 8am-4.30pm. Paying $1800 per day, flights into Katherine, accommodation and hire car are provided with 3-week minimum blocks, ideally suited for locums looking for a regular high paying role in this diverse part of the NT. Communicare software is used with a session provided to show how the service uses it. Visiting Roper River offers a peaceful escape into the remote beauty of the Northern Territory, with excellent fishing, rich Indigenous culture, and stunning natural scenery surrounded by rugged outback landscapes and winding waterways.

Credentials: FRACGP or FACRRM, Specialist AHPRA registration, Communicare experience required.
