Job summary

Quantum Medical Recruitment seeks a Locum General Practitioner to work in Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service clinics in Jigalong and Newman, WA. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30–5:00, with on-site GP support and nursing assistance.

Travel arrangements and a company car are provided, and accommodation is included. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive primary health care in remote communities, using Communicare software for patient records.

Qualifications

• AMS experience preferred but not essential.
• ALS preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site general practice services in Jigalong and Newman, WA.
• Coordinate with nursing staff for patient care.
• Record and manage patient data in Communicare.

This service is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service located in the East Pilbara region delivering services in communities located in the Great Sandy, Little Sandy and Gibson Deserts. We provide culturally responsive and appropriate fully comprehensive primary health care services in communities of Jigalong, Parnngurr, Punmu, Kunawarritji and Newman.
