Job summary

Aussie Locums is seeking a Locum Cardiac Sonographer for a 1-month assignment in Bathurst, NSW, with potential extension. You will perform inpatient and outpatient echocardiograms in Bathurst and occasionally in Orange, on a Monday-to-Friday schedule.

The position offers travel support, accommodation, and hire car assistance, with competitive pay up to $105 per hour plus superannuation and DOE. NSW Health credentialing may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience performing echocardiograms including stress echoes and TOE.
• Proficiency with GE Vivid S60N echocardiography machines.
• Experience with reporting software such as IntelliSpace Health Track.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Strong communication with medical staff and patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient and outpatient echocardiograms (8–10 scans per day).
• Conduct stress echocardiograms and TOE procedures.
• Travel between Bathurst and Orange, spending one day per week in Orange.
• Work with a cardiologist and support staff, while also operating independently.
• Adhere to department policies and protocols.
