Job summary

Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia – Rockhampton QLD seeks staff for Location Based Support to deliver local court services directly to the judiciary and the public, face-to-face, in a high-volume registry environment.

Role involves providing information, managing cases, supporting registrars and coordinating with Judges’ chambers, legal practitioners and other service providers to ensure timely case progression and resolutions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated record of success in providing client-focused services in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to use initiative, work independently and prioritise deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders including judiciary and management.

Responsibilities

• Provide information and advice on court services, procedures and forms to clients.
• Progress cases via administrative services, document lodgement and fee reconciliation.
• Assist in complex case management using the case management system.
• Work independently within defined rules applying legislation and court processes.
• Identify issues and contribute to problem resolution.
• Schedule and prioritise matters for hearing to achieve early resolution.
• Liaise with judges, registrars, practitioners and external stakeholders to assist case resolution.
• Coach staff, identify training needs and provide quality assurance.
• Collate, analyse and produce reports as required.
• Assist Registrars as required.
