1800DRIVERS is seeking a skilled driver for a local role based at Minchinbury, NSW. You will manage trailer movements of general freight, operate a Mercedes with tautliner curtains, and start work at 5am each day, delivering pallets and containers while prioritising safety and efficiency.

The role offers an ongoing 5-day pattern with local work aimed at home each night, requiring MC licence, strong paperwork handling, and reliable, professional conduct to interact with yard staff and customers.

Qualifications

• MC Licence is essential
• Min 18 months local experience with great reserving skills
• Ability to read and upstand/interpret paperwork (manifest/dockets)
• Strong safety focus and reliable work ethic
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Availability for 5 days a week with a 5am start
• Excellent reliability and punctuality
• Professionalism and a great attitude

Responsibilities

• Local BDouble work including containers along with tautliners
• Coordinating trailer positioning for loading and unloading
• Ensuring safe operation and adherence to site procedures
• Working closely with yard supervisors and dock staff
