Cleanaway’s Yellow Gear Academy in Eastern Creek offers paid, structured training to become a Loader Operator. No prior loader experience is required, with initial training on site and a supportive team to build your skills in operating heavy machinery.

The program runs during a four-week training phase, after which you transition to a rotating 4 on, 4 off roster involving day and night shifts. This is a path to a permanent full-time operational career with progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• No previous loader operating experience required.
• Current Australian driver's licence (any class) is preferred.
• Willing to learn and operate heavy machinery safely.
• Ability to work rotating day and night shifts.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Learn to safely operate heavy mobile plant and loader equipment.
• Load, move and manage unprocessed organic materials.
• Support composting and resource recovery operations.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and safety checks.
• Maintain clean, organized and safe work areas.
