  • 2:2 (7D7N14RR) FIFO Perth to Iron Bridge Mine
  • Salary sacrifice options available for applicants outside WA

In this role, you will:

  • Operate machinery efficiently, safely, and competently to maximise output
  • Comply with Thiess’ policies and procedures
  • Respond to instructions from Mining Supervisor
  • Maintain floor levels
  • Minimise dilution and achieve design parameters within acceptable tolerances
  • Maintain stockpiles, dumps and haul roads to ensure safe and efficient flow
  • Operate, drive and move material as directed to prepare operating areas and roads
  • Set and maintain high housekeeping standards
  • Carry out pre-start checks
About you
  • 3 years plus experience operating a CAT 994 Loader in a production mining operation, including loading at the ROM
  • Equivalent experience in Komatsu WA1200, Le Tourneau 1850
  • Possess strong mining operational skills and demonstrate ability in maintaining pit floors and bunds in a mining production environment
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of ore mark ups and pit configuration
  • Proven compliance and commitment to health and safety at all times
