Job summary

Engineering Trades Australia is seeking an experienced Loader/Excavator Operator for a 2:1 roster, starting 29 September 2026. You will safely operate loaders and excavators across site, supporting production and general earthmoving activities.

The role requires experience in mining/civil earthmoving, current tickets/VOCs, and the ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening. A strong safety mindset and reliable work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating loaders and excavators.
• Experience in mining, civil, quarrying or earthmoving environments.
• Current tickets and VOCs for the machinery you operate.
• Pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate loaders and excavators.
• Complete daily pre-starts and equipment inspections.
• Perform bulk earthworks, material movement and general earthmoving duties.
• Load and move materials safely and efficiently.
• Work to production targets and site requirements.
• Identify and report equipment faults or maintenance requirements.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping around operating areas.
• Follow all site safety procedures and environmental requirements.
• Work effectively as part of a wider site team.
