Job summary

Central Land Council is seeking a Ranger Workforce Development Officer to coordinate training for remote ranger groups across Central Australia and drive on-ground land management initiatives. The role focuses on developing and delivering training with CLC staff and providers, including leadership of the Annual Ranger Camp.

OUR STORY

The Central Land Council (CLC) is a corporate Commonwealth entity established under the Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Act 1976. The CLC represents traditional landowners, native title holders and other Aboriginal people in the southern half of the Northern Territory—an area of almost 780,000 square kilometres.

The CLC provides its constituents with advice, advocacy and practical assistance to support their aspirations, manage their land and realise and protect their rights.

THE ROLE
LM030 - Ranger Workforce Development Officer

Full-time - Ongoing

KEY FUNCTIONS

Coordinate the delivery of training to remote ranger groups across Central Australia to enable implementation of on-ground land management programs. This includes liaising with training providers and CLC staff to develop and deliver remote and town based training programs. Lead the project management for CLCs Annual Ranger Camp.

REMUNERATION & REMARKABLE BENEFITS

Base Salary: Starting from $90,386 p.a. (negotiable classification banding based on skills and experience, subject to CLC EA guidelines and authorised approval).

Annual progression within the salary scale is subject to satisfactory performance. Progression is in accordance with annual increments set out in an enterprise agreement.
