Job summary

St Vincent’s Care Maroochydore on Queensland's Sunshine Coast is seeking a Living Support Partner (Personal Care Assistant) to deliver person-centred care in a modern aged care community. You will assist residents with daily living activities, respect their choices, routines and dignity, and work with a household team to create a safe, engaging home environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar qualifications essential.
• 6 months+ experience in a similar role with residential aged care experience (dementia experience) highly regarded.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check is mandatory
• Experience with AutumnCare (or similar software) with ability to maintain excellent records
• Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights/responsibilities with ability to follow the care plan

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with daily living activities.
• Respect residents' choices, routines, wellbeing and dignity while working with a household team to keep residents safe, valued and engaged.
