Job summary

Discovery Parks – Halls Gap is seeking an experienced Park Manager to lead all aspects of a premier regional holiday park. This live‑in management role offers a furnished three‑bedroom residence onsite and the opportunity to balance commercial performance with guest satisfaction and team development.

You will drive financial performance, supervise a high‑performing team, ensure safety and asset presentation, and collaborate with the G'day Group network to implement best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, accommodation, tourism or caravan park management.
• Leadership in a multi-faceted operational environment.
• Current driver's license.
• Experience using property management systems (RMS, Newbook or similar).
• Strong financial and commercial management skills.
• Proven ability to coach, motivate and develop teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with guests, staff and external partners.
• Willingness to work weekends, public holidays and after-hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the park, including after-hours call outs when required
• Drive financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, reporting and cost control
• Recruit, develop and mentor a high-performing team
• Maintain exceptional presentation standards across all accommodation, grounds and facilities
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory requirements
• Manage guest feedback, reviews and service recovery to deliver outstanding experiences
• Build and maintain relationships with local tourism operators, businesses and community stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies and grow business performance
• Collaborate with the wider G'day Group network to share best practice and support initiatives
• Provide hands-on operational support to ensure the park runs smoothly
