Job summary

Ticketek Entertainment Group (TEG) is a Live Experience Group delivering unforgettable moments across Australia and New Zealand. We seek a Legal Counsel to advise across contracts, IP, data privacy, disputes and strategic M&A projects for our live events and partnerships.

You will work directly with the Group General Counsel, handling high‑volume commercial contracts and providing pragmatic legal guidance to ensure compliance and commercial success.

Qualifications

• Admitted as a legal practitioner in NSW.
• Up to 3 years PQE in a corporate/commercial department or in-house role.

Responsibilities

• Lead drafting, negotiation and execution of contracts across live events, artists, teams, venues and sponsors.
• Provide robust legal support to underpin commercial outcomes and develop strong business partnerships.
• Advise on event planning, risk management, insurance and regulatory approvals.
• Support sponsorship & brand activation with compliance to advertising and consumer laws.
• Negotiate venue hire contracts, licensing and service provider agreements.
• Advise on regulatory compliance including consumer, competition, employment, IP and privacy laws.
• Assist with dispute resolution and incident management arising from events or sports.
