Job summary

Baiada is seeking Live Bay Process Workers for its Beresfield processing facility in New South Wales. No experience is required to join the team responsible for hanging live birds on the processing line and performing evisceration duties with safety and efficiency.

Successful candidates will work five days per week with start times as early as 3–4am. The role offers competitive pay from AU$31.33 per hour plus allowances, secure parking, and on-site canteen facilities with immediate starts

• Ability to perform manual handling and repetitive lifting.

• Perform evisceration duties, removing internal organs.

Join us as a Live Bay Process Worker! No experience needed!

We are currently seeking process workers to join Baiada’s team in their live bay area at the Beresfield processing facility. This facility is designed to meet the highest standards of food safety and quality, whilst also ensuring the welfare of their chickens and turkeys.

The successful candidates will be responsible for hanging live birds on the processing line and performing evisceration duties in a safe and efficient manner.

About the Role:

• Hanging live birds on the processing line for start of production
• Performing evisceration duties, including removing internal organs of the birds
• Inspecting birds for defects or abnormalities and removing any birds that do not meet quality standards
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in accordance with hygiene and safety standards.
• Start times as early as 3-4am

Skills & Experience:

• We value reliability and punctuality above all else. If you have a proven attendance record and can commit to working 5 days per week, we want to hear from you!
• Manual handling and repetitive lifting are part of the job, so if you have physical restrictions then this role may not be for you
