Job summary

Envirowaste in Sydney is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to help manage daily operations across our grease trap and liquid waste facility. You will work with the Factory Manager to lead plant operations, drive efficiencies, and uphold the high safety and environmental standards our customers expect.

The role requires strong leadership, planning, and communication skills, with a focus on safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily management of grease trap and liquid waste operations.
• Ensure compliance with EPA, Workplace Health & Safety and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
• Monitor plant performance, plant utilisation and operational efficiencies.
• Assist with production planning and workflow through our Yennora processing facility.
• Work closely with internal customers to ensure exceptional service delivery.
• Investigate and resolve operational issues promptly and professionally.
• Assist with reporting, KPI monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure plant and equipment are maintained to the highest operational standards.
• Promote a positive, safety-first culture across the business.
• Unload trucks of varying configurations safely and efficiently.

Job description

This is a diverse role where no two days are the same. You will assist in managing daily operations across our current liquid waste treatment facility, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and in compliance with all regulatory requirements. You will also be heavily involved in the initial set up and running of our new expanded operations. Working closely with our Factory Manager, you will play a key role in leading our plant operations, improving efficiencies and maintaining the high standards our customers expect.
