Job summary

SOLSTAS is seeking an experienced Linux Systems Administrator to manage, secure, and automate complex enterprise environments in Canberra. You’ll work across RHEL and other Linux platforms, supporting high-availability infrastructure and driving technical improvements.

Key duties include scripting and automation with Ansible, Bash, or Python, solid networking and SSH security, and identity/access management.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux administration and RHEL experience.
• Shell scripting and automation using Ansible, Bash or Python.
• Solid understanding of networking, DNS, SSH and security hardening.
• Experience with identity, authentication and access management.
• Experience managing system updates, patching, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Exposure to virtualisation, cloud and container technologies.
• Experience with Active Directory / IPA desirable.
• Ability to work autonomously, solve complex problems and contribute to a technical team.
