Job summary

Beerenberg Pty Ltd in the Adelaide Hills town of Hahndorf is seeking an energetic Line Cook to join our busy, full-service café. You’ll bring speed, precision and a calm head to breakfast and brunch service, plating dishes that showcase our iconic brand.

You'll own your station, prep and stock for service, manage multiple orders with quality and timing, and work closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver great guest experiences every time.

Qualifications

• Have previous experience as a Line Cook, Cook or similar role.
• Thrive in a fast-paced kitchen with attention to detail.
• Understand food safety, hygiene, quality and WHS requirements.
• Be reliable, organised and able to start early.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plate high-volume breakfast and brunch items with speed and care.
• Own your station: prep, stock and organise for a smooth service.
• Manage multiple orders while maintaining quality and timing.
• Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure meals reach guests as described.
• Champion food safety and cleanliness, including stock rotation and hygiene.
• Support stock control and general kitchen operations daily.

• Thrive in a fast-paced kitchen and can manage multiple tickets while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
• Have strong short-order cooking skills and confidence preparing breakfast and brunch favourites under pressure.
• Understand food safety, hygiene, quality and WHS requirements and consistently put them into practice.
• Are reliable, organised and ready for early morning starts.
• Bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to jump in wherever needed to support the team.
• Communicate well with others and enjoy working collaboratively in a busy hospitality environment.
• Are available to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays.
• Love providing great food and even better guest experiences.
