Job summary
Well Smart Investment Holding (Bris) Pty Ltd on Lindeman Island seeks an Environmental Labourer to live on site and perform hands-on environmental work across the island, supporting construction and landscaping teams while meeting environmental obligations.
You will manage erosion control, weed and pest management, revegetation, waste handling and site monitoring, requiring physical fitness and a safety focus in a remote island environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in environmental, landscaping, land management or construction site work.
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in hot and wet conditions.
- Follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to safety and environmental protection.
- Valid MR or higher driver’s licence.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair erosion and sediment controls.
- Control invasive weeds by hand removal and herbicide application.
- Assist with revegetation and habitat restoration activities.
- Manage waste, spill response and site clean-ups as directed.
- Support gardening/landscaping teams and general labouring.
