Job summary

CareCone Group is seeking a LIMS System Administrator for a Federal client in Australia. The role requires practical knowledge of LIMS systems such as Sample Manager and familiarity with database administration and SQL.

You will work with IT and business stakeholders to ensure system availability, service levels, and robust disaster recovery procedures, applying SFIA-based practices and effective problem resolution.

• Ability to learn new systems quickly and work with stakeholders.
• Australian citizen with baseline clearance.

Hello Professionals ! We are looking for an \"LIMS System Administrator \" for one of our Federal Client based in ACT, NSW, VIC.

Job Description:

• Practical knowledge of, or experience in LIMS administration such as Sample Manager or a similar system relevant to the functioning of a commercial analytical/scientific laboratory.
• Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following computer programming and scripting languages:
• VGL
• LIMS Basics
• .Net C#
• Visual Basics
• Java and HTML.
• SQL
• Sound knowledge of database administration. The use of SQL to extract information from database or to correct errors in the database.
• Sound knowledge of scientific laboratory environments and the role of LIMS in laboratory operations.
• Familiarity with standard IT applications and the ability to rapidly develop a high level of understanding of new application or systems.
• Experience in processing data and the use of standard desktop applications.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills with the ability to analyse and resolve complex issues.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships and work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment and with business stakeholders.
• 1.Availability management: Level 4 (SFIA)

Analyses service and component availability, reliability, maintainability and serviceability. Contributes to the availability management process and its operation. Performs defined availability management tasks. Ensures that services and components meet and continue to meet all of their agreed performance targets and service levels. Implements arrangements for disaster recovery and documents recovery procedures. Conducts testing of recovery procedures.

• 2.Problem management: Level 3 (SFIA)

Investigates problems in systems, processes and services. Assists with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures.

Designs, codes, verifies, tests, documents, amends and refactors simple programs/scripts. Applies agreed standards and tools to achieve a well-engineered result. Reviews own work.
