Job summary

Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre in Geelong VIC is seeking experienced live events operators to deliver conferences, exhibitions, galas and concerts with professional lighting and vision systems. You will set up, operate, program, troubleshoot and pack down event technology, collaborating with clients, presenters and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery.

The role requires strong problem-solving, excellent communication, and the flexibility to work evenings and weekends at

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in live events, theatre or broadcast environments.
Experience with Barco Event Master systems (E3, S3, PDS-4K) and GrandMA3.
Strong knowledge of lighting, video signal flow and production workflows.
Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, program, troubleshoot and pack down event technology.
Collaborate with clients, presenters and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery.
Troubleshoot live productions to minimize downtime.
Maintain safety and quality standards during events.
