Job summary

Beacon Lighting Pty Ltd is seeking a permanent full-time Sales & Design Consultant for our Alexandria store in Sydney. The role blends customer service with lighting design and project work, with a 76-hour week from Monday to Thursday and every second weekend off.

You will advise customers, pursue design opportunities, and manage client relationships from concept through installation, while contributing to showroom merchandising and staying current with design trends.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert customer service and product advice in showroom and on lighting design projects.
• Build the design business by proactively seeking project opportunities from retail and trade customers.
• Nurture client relationships through the design process from concept to completion.
• Read and interpret house and electrical plans to create lighting designs that fit needs and budget.
• Contribute to showroom presentation, merchandising, promos, and housekeeping.
• Stay up to date with lighting design trends and technology.
