Job summary

Westfill Pty Ltd in Western Australia seeks an experienced Automotive Technician to perform maintenance, servicing and repairs on light vehicles and generators. You will diagnose faults, order parts, and support HD Fitters on site, while maintaining accurate service records and adhering to safety standards.

Candidates should have a Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent, 3+ years post-trade experience, a current Australian manual licence, and the ability to pass

Qualifications

• Australian recognised Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience post trade, preferably within Mining industry or a similar site based environment.
• Working at heights.
• Ability to supply a National Police Clearance within the last 6 months.
• Current Australian Drivers Licence, C Manual at minimum
• Ability to pass pre employment medical to include drug and alcohol screening.
• Strong commitment to safe work practices and maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance, servicing and repairs on light vehicles.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults efficiently and accurately
• Order and manage parts required for maintenance and repairs.
• Carry out maintenance on generators, forklifts and light vehicles.
• Assist HD Fitters with maintenance and repair as required.
• Accurately record fuel, oil lubricant and parts usage during servicing activities.
• Complete all service records and maintenance documents accurately and within required timeframes.
• Maintain efficient work policies, procedures, and industry standards.
