Job summary

JAX Tyres & Auto Campbelltown is seeking an experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our busy workshop. You’ll logbook service to manufacturer standards, diagnose faults and perform brake, steering and suspension repairs, with strong team support.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic with at least 3 years’ experience.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior staff.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop.
• Excellent attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Reliable, punctual and positive attitude.
• Availability to work Saturdays when required.

Responsibilities

• Logbook servicing to manufacturer standards
• Experience with various makes and model vehicles
• Brake, steering and suspension repairs
• General mechanical repairs and maintenance
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently
• Ordering parts through Repco Navigator and other supplier platforms
• Monitoring workshop workflow and assisting with job allocation
• Maintaining a high standard of safety, cleanliness and workmanship
