Job summary

BuildRight Construction AU in Victoria is seeking a Motor Mechanic-Light Vehicle to join a reputable workshop. The role focuses on servicing, diagnostics, repairs and fault-finding across a broad range of European makes with modern diagnostic technology.

The successful candidate will join an experienced team, work with accurate diagnostics, quality repairs and professional workshop practices, and contribute to a busy automotive environment. Visa sponsorship is available.

Qualifications

• Recognised Trade qualification in Motor Mechanics-Light Vehicle or equivalent.
• At least 12 months of relevant practical automotive experience.
• Hands-on experience in vehicle servicing and mechanical repairs.
• Strong understanding of modern light vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proven diagnostic and fault-finding capability.

Responsibilities

• Completes scheduled servicing and preventive maintenance.
• Carry out routine engine servicing, oil and oil filter replacement and tune-ups.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Inspect and repair engines and related mechanical systems.
• Service and repair transmissions and associated components.
• Inspect and repair braking, steering and suspension systems.
