Job Description

Spurty's Mechanical is seeking a highly skilled Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team in Kalgoorlie WA. You will be responsible for delivering safe, efficient and high-quality automotive services, including:

• Performing scheduled servicing and maintenance (oil changes, brake inspections, etc.)
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic tools
• Repairing and replacing mechanical and electrical components
• Conducting vehicle testing to ensure safety, reliability and quality standards are met
• Accurately documenting all work performed and maintaining service records
• Supporting day-to-day workshop operations to meet business objectives
• Ensuring the workshop is kept clean, tidy and well organized

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Australian trade qualifications (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent) – highly regarded
• Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic / Technician
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with automotive diagnostic equipment and tools
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and team members
• A strong work ethic and commitment to safety
• A genuine passion for the automotive industry and continuous learning
