Motion seeks a dedicated Lifting Technician for our Derwent Park site in Tasmania. You will inspect, test, repair, and maintain lifting equipment, ensuring safety and compliance with Australian Standards.

This full-time role involves collaboration with customers, keeping detailed records, and upholding rigorous safety practices. You will bring a LEEA diploma or engineering qualification, practical knowledge of AS 4991/AS 1418, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualificações

• Hold a LEEA Diploma, or equivalent lifting equipment or engineering qualification.
• Apply working knowledge of AS 4991 and AS 1418 for lifting equipment.
• Hold a current driver’s license – essential.

Responsabilidades

• Perform inspections, testing, and certification of lifting equipment (chains, slings, hoists, gear).
• Carry out repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
• Provide technical advice and support to customers on lifting solutions and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs and certifications.
• Ensure all work complies with Australian Standards and safety regulations.
