Job summary

Ace Lifting & Height Safety is seeking a motivated Technician to inspect, test, certify and install lifting and height safety equipment across a variety of client sites. You will work with our Scheduling & Administration team to ensure safe, efficient, and professional delivery of services, reporting to the Branch Manager.

This hands-on role requires strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Qualifications

• Inspect, test and certify lifting and height safety equipment across customer sites.
• Install lifting and height safety equipment and ensure they meet compliance.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and report findings to customers.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test and install lifting and height safety equipment at customer sites.
• Review upcoming jobs to ensure tooling, equipment and materials are available.
• Liaise with customers prior to site attendance and throughout the inspection process.
• Identify and capture all equipment requiring inspection on site.
• Complete inspection reports and discuss failed items with the customer contact.
• Maintain accurate records of time, travel and materials.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment in good condition.
• Participate in training, toolbox talks and continuous improvement initiatives.
