Job summary

Belgravia Leisure is seeking enthusiastic lifeguards to manage day-to-day pool operations at NSW Moss Vale. You will ensure a safe, enjoyable environment for all patrons and provide excellent customer service.

This casual role offers mornings, evenings and weekend shifts with opportunities for temporary transfer to part-time positions. Free facility access and career development are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid (Level 2) and CPR certifications are required.
• National Police Check is required.
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate is required.
• Pool Operations Certificate is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in a comparable role is welcome but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day pool operations and safety.
• Ensure areas around pools are safe and welcoming for patrons.
• Deliver excellent customer service and guidance on safety rules.
• Communicate effectively with a diverse patron base.
• Support flexible shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends.

The Role

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable and friendly lifeguardsto join the team. Our lifeguards will be responsible for the Day to Day Pool Operations within our facility and ensure that all areas both in and surrounding our pools is a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons.

You will have a passion for safetyaround the water. You should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing and fun. You will need outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensureour patrons safely enjoy their visit every time.

Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with students that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures and needs.

We have multiple casual positions available with the option to transfer a part time position for the right employees. Your commitment and flexibility to weekends and increased hours during our peak operating seasons will be rewarded and recognised.

Skills & Attributes

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• An understanding of OHS and public safety applications within your facility
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable part of the team
• Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
• National Police Check
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
• Previous experience and success in a comparable role is not essential but highly regarded
• Current Pool Operations Certificateis not essential but highly regarded
