Pearce IP Pty Ltd. is seeking experienced IP litigators to join our Australian team, spanning across a stage of significant patent litigation matters. We welcome candidates from 2 years PQE up to senior leadership, with senior roles requiring demonstrated patent litigation experience and strong life sciences knowledge.

You will join a team that blends technical knowledge with advocacy, strategic thinking and commercial judgment to deliver outcomes for innovative life sciences companies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years PQE in IP litigation.
• Experience in patent litigation within life sciences sector.
• Science degree in biology, chemistry or biochemistry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise Pearce IP clients on IP disputes, including patent validity and infringement.
• Handle patent term extensions, biosimilar and generic medicine litigation, and related regulatory matters.
• Occasionally take on general commercial litigation matters and IP litigation for clients in other sectors.

We are open to considering candidates from 2 years PQE through to leader level.Candidates for senior roles must have experience in patent litigation as well asknowledge and understandingof the life sciences sector.

About You and these Roles

You are an energetic andcapable IP/Patent litigator looking tojoin ateam that combines technical knowledge with strong advocacy, strategic thinking and commercial judgmentto deliver exceptional outcomes for innovative life sciences companies.Given the nature of our client base and the work you will be involved in, you will ideally have a science degree in biology, chemistry or biochemistry.

These roleswill involve advising Pearce IP clients on intellectual property disputes, including validity and infringement of patents and patent term extensions, biosimilar and generic medicine litigation and related regulatory matters, and trade mark disputes. From time to time, we also take on general commercial litigation matters andIP litigation for clients in other sectors.
