Job summary

Howden is offering a permanent role in Gloucester with an 18-month development programme for entrants to the insurance sector. You’ll gain recognised qualifications, work alongside experienced advisers and learn how customer needs are assessed to recommend protection solutions.

On joining, you’ll start with a structured induction, develop technical knowledge and professional skills, and gradually take on more responsibility while building relationships with customers and underwriters.

Qualifications

• Have GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or higher.
• Have the full and unrestricted right to work in the UK.
• No prior insurance qualification overlaps with this apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Complete an 18-month development programme with a structured induction.
• Learn insurance basics and customer service through hands-on training.
• Build rapport with customers and understand their background and needs for protection solutions.
• Keep accurate client records across multiple systems and provide professional service.
