Job summary

Chip Electrics in Sydney is seeking a qualified Electrician to join our growing team. You will handle electrical installations, maintenance, repairs and testing across residential and commercial projects, ensuring compliance with Australian standards.

You must hold a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician, have relevant electrical experience, and hold or be eligible for an Australian licence. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety

Qualifications

Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent qualification.
Relevant electrical work experience.
Australian Electrical Licence or eligibility to obtain the required licence.

Responsibilities

Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical wiring, equipment and systems.
Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, specifications and technical drawings.
Identifying electrical faults and performing repairs.
Testing electrical circuits and equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Installing switchboards, lighting systems and electrical components.
Ensuring all work complies with Australian electrical regulations and workplace safety requirements.
