Job summary

Expanda Van Homes in Gosford, NSW, seeks a licensed electrician to join our team. You will perform electrical installation, wiring, testing and fault finding on Expanda Vans, ensuring quality and safety standards.

The role requires NSW Electrician licence, Cert III in Electrotechnology Electrician (UEE30820) and at least 2 years of related experience. Work both independently and with a team in a busy factory setting.

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (UEE30820 or equivalent)
• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Minimum - 2 years related experience and/or training
• Ability to apply technical skills and knowledge in a practical and commercial manner

• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently & in a team

Responsibilities

• Work with pre-assembly and assembly teams to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Complete electrical installation, wiring, testing and fault finding for Expanda Vans.
• Install appliance provisions and complete electrical components.
• Track and report quality inefficiencies to supervisors.
• Maintain cleaning of factory floor and perform equipment maintenance.
• Comply with Work Health and Safety regulations.

Job description

Work with pre-assembly and assembly teams and supervisors regularly to improve productivity and efficiency.

Complete all aspects required in the manufacture of an Expanda Van including but not limited to cutting, fitting, assembly and installation of electrical parts and components.

Complete all electrical components required for each van including but not limited to running all electrical wiring, testing appliances, fault finding and installation of appliance provisions.

Track and report quality inefficiencies to department supervisor.

Maintain cleaning of factory floor and equipment maintenance.

Comply with all Work Health and Safety regulations.

What we're looking for
