Job summary

Modern Electrical & Security is seeking an experienced Licenced Electrician in the Sydney area. You will manage your own projects, lead a small team, and work on residential, commercial, and industrial electrical tasks.

You will be paid $55–$65 per hour with a $1,000 sign-on bonus after probation, and you’ll be supplied with a company van and phone. A valid supervisor licence, driver’s license, and white card are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid electrical supervisor's licence.
• Must hold a valid driver's licence.
• White card / construction card required.
• Experience in residential, commercial or solar works is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Run your own projects and jobs as a licensed electrician.
• Lead a team and mentor colleagues to meet targets and KPIs.
• Manage jobs via job management software (e.g., SimPro) with support from office staff.
• Provide high-quality electrical installations and repairs for domestic, commercial, and industrial settings.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

We require an experienced licenced electrician with preferably 2+ years experience

The successful candidate will be experienced in the residential field.

Commercial, Solar, Level 2 & Industrial experience is a bonus

We require a confident, polite, tidy, friendly & professional person whom can work under pressure, deal with clients, timelines, goals, KPIs and issues thatcan be resolved.

You must be efficient, punctual &show initiative

You must hold a valid electrical supervisors licence

You must hold a valid drivers licence

You must have a white card / construction card
