Job summary

Blacktown City Council is seeking a Coordinator Outreach Programs to extend library services beyond branches, supporting children, multicultural communities, older residents, and those facing access barriers. The role leads an outreach team across Multicultural and Children’s Collections, Home Library, Mobile Library, Youth and Aged Services, planning and delivering programs and coaching staff.

• Experience leading an outreach team across Multicultural and Children’s Collections, Home Library, Mobile Library, Youth and Aged Services.
• Ability to plan and deliver outreach and literacy programs.
• Ability to coach staff and support their development.
• Ability to build relationships with schools, community organisations, health providers, and cultural groups.
• Experience contributing to budgets, service planning and improvements across Library Services.
