Job summary

University of the Sunshine Coast is seeking a dedicated professional to coordinate strategic engagement with Schools and support students, academics and researchers across online and face-to-face delivery modes.

The role involves contributing to academic program development, collaborating with library teams and other university departments, and guiding sustainable collection development while integrating GenAI practices to enhance services.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain strategic engagement with Schools to provide support, information and resources for students, academics and researchers that facilitates both online and face-to-face delivery modes.
• Proactively contribute, as appropriate, to the development of academic programs and courses to ensure student information and digital literacy capabilities are developed, in alignment with the UniSC Graduate Attributes.
• Work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders within the broader Library team, as well as with other University Schools and departments, including knowledge sharing with team members and mentorship of emerging professionals.
• Work collaboratively to ensure digital and physical resource collections meet the evolving learning, teaching and research needs of the University, including providing advice on the development and use of OERs and/or other resources that promote and uphold sustainable collection development principles.
• Support the use of citation management and collaboration tools.
• Actively contribute to the investigation, implementation and evaluation of digital products and services that support learning, teaching and research activities.
• Embed generative AI (GenAI) practices into their roles to enhance library services and support for users.
• Proactively engage with, represent, and advocate for, the Library through contribution to internal and external committees and projects, including professional industry networks.
• Contribute to strategic and operational planning activities of the Library to ensure learning and teaching goals and activities are aligned and delivered.
