Gallagher's Pen Underwriting in Sydney is seeking an experienced Underwriter to assess and underwrite new and renewal submissions across Liability lines, in line with Pen guidelines.

You will build strong broker relationships, provide sound risk assessment, comply with Australian regulations, and collaborate with fellow underwriters to identify growth opportunities.

Qualificações

• Minimum 3 years’ underwriting experience, ideally within Liability insurance products.
• Strong risk assessment, analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to work within delegated authority.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with brokers, agents and clients.
• Highly organised with strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands.
• Sound understanding of Australian insurance regulations, compliance requirements and Microsoft Office applications.

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with brokers to drive new business opportunities and maximise renewal retention.
• Support efficiencies and process improvements in the team.
• Collaborating with underwriters across other product lines to strengthen broker relationships and identify growth opportunities.

The Role:

As an Underwriter, you will be responsible for
