Job summary

Roogenic in Backmede, near Casino, is seeking a reliable casual Farm Hand to join our working lemon myrtle and aniseed myrtle farm. The role covers harvesting, processing and general farm tasks alongside the Farm Manager.

Ideal candidates are physically fit, enjoy outdoor work and can follow instructions carefully. Previous farm or outdoor labour experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.

Qualifications

Reliable and punctual and able to turn up as agreed.
Physically fit for outdoor farm work.
Hardworking, practical and switched on.
Able to follow instructions and complete jobs carefully.
Safety-conscious with good common sense.
Respectful and easy to work with as part of a small team.
Previous farm, labouring or outdoor work experience is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

Harvesting lemon myrtle and aniseed myrtle.
Sorting and processing harvested leaf.
Milling dried leaf.
Mowing, whipper-snipping, weeding and farm cleanup.
General farm and equipment maintenance.
Assisting with practical maintenance and improvement projects around the farm.
