Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network is seeking a dedicated Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator to design and deliver engaging activities for older residents in the Adelaide Hills region. You will collaborate with residents, families, staff and volunteers to promote independence, wellbeing, and social connection within a compassionate aged care setting.

The role requires coordinating diverse programs, adapting activities to individual needs, and contributing to a person-centred care

Qualifications

• AQF Certificate III in sterilising technology is required.
• Employment screening is required.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and deliver a diverse range of leisure, lifestyle, recreational, and therapeutic activities.
• Support residents to participate in meaningful activities that promote independence, social connection, and wellbeing.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individual and group programs for varying cognitive, physical, cultural, and social needs.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, volunteers and staff to create a vibrant aged care environment.
• Monitor participation and feedback to continuously improve programs and ensure activities are person-centred.

Working closely with residents, families, staff, volunteers, and the multidisciplinary team, you will help create a supportive and vibrant aged care environment where residents feel connected, valued, and empowered to live life to the fullest.

• Monitor resident participation and feedback to continuously improve programs and ensure activities remain relevant, enjoyable, andperson-centred.
