Peninsula Australia is seeking a Legal Counsel to partner with business leaders across ANZ, shaping commercial direction and mentoring junior lawyers. You will report to the Senior Legal Counsel and manage complex commercial agreements while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

You’ll bring 2+ years PQE, strong contract and commercial law knowledge, and a proven ability to provide clear, commercially focused advice.

Formación

2+ years post-qualification experience with a current practicing certificate.
Demonstrated experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of complex commercial agreements.
Excellent knowledge of contract law and commercial law.
Proven ability to provide clear, concise, and commercially focused legal advice.

Responsabilidades

Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a variety of commercial contracts.
Provide proactive legal advice to internal stakeholders on employment-related issues, consumer protection laws and WHS across ANZ.
Advise, negotiate and resolve internal employment-related and commercial disputes.
Identify and analyse legal risks and develop effective strategies to mitigate them.
Keep abreast of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry developments.
Develop and implement internal legal policies and procedures.
Contribute to legal training to internal teams as required.
