A leading animal welfare charity in Melbourne is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their in-house legal team. This newly created position requires a commercial lawyer with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE. Responsibilities include contract negotiations, advising on regulatory and sponsorship matters, and assisting with Trademark certification. An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a Legal Counsel to join the growing in-house legal team. This position is newly created and would suit a commercial lawyer with general commercial and contracting experience.
The Legal Counsel will report to the General Counsel and provide legal support across the organisation on a variety of contracts that support and benefit the organisation, including in the area of sponsorship, Trade Mark licensing, national supply arrangements and partnerships.
This is a broad role providing an array of stimulating commercial and regulatory work across multiple stakeholders, within an action-orientated, compassionate and purpose driven environment.
