Overview

Our client is a peak organisation and highly influential animal welfare charity. With a national presence and a strong reputation for advocacy, rescue, and education, the organisation works to improve the lives of animals through direct action, public engagement and policy.

An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a Legal Counsel to join the growing in-house legal team. This position is newly created and would suit a commercial lawyer with general commercial and contracting experience.

The Legal Counsel will report to the General Counsel and provide legal support across the organisation on a variety of contracts that support and benefit the organisation, including in the area of sponsorship, Trade Mark licensing, national supply arrangements and partnerships.

  • Assisting with Trademark certification

This is a broad role providing an array of stimulating commercial and regulatory work across multiple stakeholders, within an action-orientated, compassionate and purpose driven environment.
