We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Legal Assistant to provide comprehensive support to the Head of Class Actions and their team. This is a key role within a fast-paced, high-performing team, and offers the opportunity to work on some of the most significant class action proceedings in Australia.
The successful candidate will be an integral part of the team's day-to-day operations, ensuring the seamless coordination of legal and administrative matters across a demanding and dynamic caseload.

Required Skills & Attributes
The ideal candidate will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
Significant prior experience as a legal assistant, legal secretary, or litigation support professional within a major law firm or in-house legal team, with a strong preference for candidates who have supported class actions. You will have an understanding of court procedures, filing requirements, and litigation processes across federal and state jurisdictions.
You will possess exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of work across multiple matters simultaneously, maintaining meticulous attention to detail at all times. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with a professional and proactive approach to stakeholder engagement.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, document management systems, and legal practice management software is required. Experience with electronic court filing systems will be highly regarded.
You will be a team-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment, while also demonstrating the initiative and self-sufficiency to work independently when required.
