IDP Lawyers is a specialist defendant litigation firm representing Victorian government agencies, including WorkSafe Victoria and the Transport Accident Commission (TAC).

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting WorkCover and/or TAC litigation matters is essential.
• Strong document production and Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence managing competing priorities and deadlines.
• A proactive, dependable, and team-oriented approach.
• Experience in defendant litigation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and format legal correspondence, court documents and briefs to counsel.
• Manage electronic files, document filing and general matter administration.
• Coordinate diaries, court dates, appointments and deadlines.
• File documents with courts and authorities.
• Support lawyers with daily administration of litigation matters.

We're looking for an experienced Legal Assistant to join our litigation team, providing administrative and secretarial support to lawyers working across WorkCover and TAC matters.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing, formatting and managing legal correspondence, court documents and briefs to counsel
• Managing electronic files, document filing and general matter administration
• Coordinating diaries, court dates, appointments and deadlines
• Filing documents with courts and relevant authorities
• Supporting lawyers with the day-to-day administration of litigation matters
